“The Manufacturer’s Handbook”

Straight from Joe.My.God

This is Representative Paul Broun, who calls the Bible “the manufacturer’s handbook.”

“All that stuff I was taught about evolution and embryology and the Big Bang Theory, all that is lies straight from the pit of Hell. And it’s lies to try to keep me and all the folks who were taught that from understanding that they need a savior. You see, there are a lot of scientific data that I’ve found out as a scientist that actually show that this is really a young Earth. I don’t believe that the Earth’s but about 9,000 years old. I believe it was created in six days as we know them. That’s what the Bible says.  What I’ve come to learn is that it’s the manufacturer’s handbook, is what I call it.  It teaches us how to run our lives individually, how to run our families, how to run our churches. But it teaches us how to run all of public policy and everything in society. And that’s the reason as your congressman I hold the holy Bible as being the major directions to me of how I vote in Washington, D.C., and I’ll continue to do that.” – Rep. Paul Broun (R-GA), speaking at Liberty Baptist Church.

This is Dawson. Dawson’s sad. Dawson doesn’t understand why people would elect someone like Paul Broun. Poor Dawson.

  1. hahaha! it’s funny. lol! poor Dawson!

  2. Why do American politicians always seem to rant about God during their election campaigns?
I have never heard an SA politician utter a single Praise the Lord or one enthusiatic Hallelujah. Not even a half hearted We Lurv yoo Jesus.
History shows quite clearly that electing a politician with a religous bent ( which is not the same as a bent politician ) they will likely be a target for assassination, or failing this, declare war on either an eastern country with lots of surnames like Wok li or Pot or anywhere that has a desert, camels, great looking chequered tea towels and worthwhile oil deposits.

Having God on one’s side is dangerous!

    • Oh, it’s not just during the election campaigns. We just get more international coverage.

We’re getting rid of soap operas and moving the characters into political office.

      Two birds, one stone.
